Each of Ribbokskloof’s three self-catering cottages is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, quiet, and a connection to the surrounding landscape.
bedroom
Spacious, with either twin or king-sized beds, dressed in crisp linen and cosy duvets, with plush pillows and textured throws for added comfort. A window nook provides a peaceful spot to read or take in the view, while natural wood furniture and a woven rattan chair add a warm, grounded touch.
kitchenette
Open-plan, fully equipped – a fridge, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso machine (with pods provided), as well as crockery, cutlery, and a few pantry essentials like tea, coffee, milk, and sugar.
bathroom
Features a walk-in shower, fresh towels, and a hand-crafted concrete vanity.
outside
Each cottage opens onto a private stoep with a small table and chairs, perfect for slow mornings or golden-hour sundowners. A shared braai area is just a few steps away, complete with grid, wood, and tongs — ready for evenings under the stars.
Whether you’re visiting for a weekend retreat, a business stay, or simply to soak up the silence of the Koue Bokkeveld, these cottages offer all the essentials — and then some.
Everything is considered, but nothing is complicated.
Just peace, comfort, and fresh air.

Rules
The gentle art of switching off.
At Ribbokskloof, life moves a little slower – and we’d love for it to stay that way. To help everyone enjoy the serenity, we ask that fires are kept to the designated boma and braai areas, and that things stay quiet after 10pm. Loud music, fireworks and firearms aren’t allowed, and we kindly ask that you leave the wildflowers, proteas, and farm produce where they are. Wildlife should never be fed, and we ask that you use the bins provided to keep the space clean for the next guest. No day visitors are allowed unless arranged in advance – it’s part of what keeps Ribbokskloof so peaceful.
Thanks for helping us keep the calm.
